When I was a young man,
I met a girl with a French last name.
I said to myself right then and there...
"I think I'd like to marry that girl someday."

So far that hasn't happened...
But isn't life still beautiful?
Sure it's got bad times to write songs about,
but those songs are wonderful.
You've got to celebrate what you've got,
